COMMUNIQUÉ DE PROTESTATION OFFICIELLE DE M. LAURENT LAMOTHE CONTRE LA DÉCISION DU GOUVERNEMENT CANADIEN
I would like to present this official protest against the Canadian government’s decision dated November 21, 2022. In this statement, I strongly condemn the defamatory accusations of my involvement in funding armed gangs. This baseless decision provides no verifiable evidence. Instead, I have consistently advocated for measures to address insecurity in Haiti, including an international tribunal to investigate the assassination of President Jovenel Moise. I urge the Canadian government to thoroughly verify their sources and provide concrete evidence or formally withdraw these accusations. I demand public apologies and reserve the right to seek legal recourse in Canadian courts to defend my honor and integrity.
